Hyundai Double Reach Forklifts
It is essential to figure out what type of requirements you need before selecting the warehouse truck. Consider things such as how high you plan to raise your loads, how much you have to raise, how much space you have to work in and how far you want to travel. These factors would truly affect your buying decision and help decipher what type of forklift truck is really the ideal one out there to meet your requirements and meet your whole expectations.
The most economical trucks are pedestrian stackers. These machinery are great for working in normal width aisles and finishing regular stacking jobs in a warehouse. They are capable of easily lifting loads of less than 750kg and could stack them to heights of approximately 4.5 metres. A different kind referred to as rider stackers could successfully lift cargo to approximately 6 metres.
Reach trucks are yet a different option to consider. They give you much greater load and lift capacities and several models come complete with telescopic forks. This characteristic allows you the ability to stack pallets two deep. For extra flexibility in handling goods, there is a 4-way and a multi-way reach truck which as the name implies, could be driven in four directions. These models are specifically best for handling long and bulky things such as planks, boards and piping.
Counterbalance trucks are best suitable for traveling longer distance and are a great choice for stacking jobs, especially block stacking. They are also a great option for free stacking and stacking loads which weigh more than 2 tonnes.
A Tight Squeeze
If you are working in a high-density storage operation, the aisle space would normally be a lot narrower and the heights you would want to reach to will potentially be much higher. Man-up telescopic lift trucks function great in high-bay, narrow aisle stores. They offer the operator or driver a good view of the stacking process. There are other types referred to as man-up combi trucks. These are quite versatile in that they can be utilized for both stacking and order-picking tasks. They could be driven all around the warehouse or used in narrow aisles.
