Used Nissan Forklifts - Inventory California

To give you an idea of the cost, a Nissan Propane Forklift dating from the late 1990s will run you approximately $11,000 to $14,000. More than likely, you would be able to find a model like this with less than 5,000 operating hours, roughly 15 feet of lifting capacity and cushion tires. However, a used Nissan forklift truck which has less than 5,000 hours can be found for less than $7,000. This option might be a little bit of an older model than several others, but keep in mind; everything revolves around the operating hours. A unit such as this would most likely have a pretty good load capacity of around 5,000 lbs.

Newer Nissan forklifts from the year 2005 to the current year, can be found priced near $10,000. Usually, these models would have a regular lift capacity ranging from 4,000 to 5,000 lbs. Usually, a model like this would have cushion tires and run smoothly. Of course, newer models generally work smoother than older ones.

Types of Forklifts
Usually, forklifts are categorized in 2 specific ways: by the structure of the forklift and the type of fuel it takes. Based on structure, the following types of lift trucks are amongst the most common:

Standard Forklift: The standard lift truck comprises the regular warehouse machinery we are all familiar with. These forklifts offer a lifting capacity of 3,000 to 5,000 pounds. They have a height capacity of around 20 feet.

Reach Forklift: Normally known as a narrow aisle forklift, the reach lift truck is the kind of machinery that is found within warehouses and distribution centers where space is at a premium. Narrow construction means that it can not lift as much as a typical lift truck model, although, it has an extendable mast which can easily lift loads roughly 40 feet.

Telescopic Forklift: Telescopic lift trucks are also referred to as telehandlers, telescopic handler or extendable reach forklifts. These kinds forklift trucks are a more heavy-duty and rugged version of a regular forklift. These models offer a telescopic boom which can be raised up and extended out. Usually, these units are utilized on rough terrain. They are able to handle loads up to 70 feet high and could move loads weighing over 30,000 pounds. handle loads up to 70 feet high

Straight Mast Forklift: The straight mast forklift is most usually used to perform tasks on rough terrain. These kinds of lift trucks are only capable of moving loads vertically, not like a telescopic unit. These models could reach a height of 10 to 30 feet, while raising loads up to 12,000 pounds.
