Chula Vista is the second largest city in San Diego County. This lovely community spans fifty square miles with a population of approximately 230,000. Chula Vista, which literally means in Spanish 'beautiful view', is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean to the west with mountains to the east It is suitably located seven miles from downtown San Diego and seven miles from the Mexican border. The city is enriched with an astounding, culture-rich society.

Chula Vista is likewise among the few cities who has a year round US Olympic Training Centre.
